HAA has advised us that some alumni may have received fraudulent emails with a Harvard Alumni header inviting donations to a GoFundMe campaign to secure an operation for a child with a rare disease. This is a scam designed to play on the generosity and goodwill of our alumni, and we have shared the email with Harvard University Information Technology to investigate. If you receive the email, please refrain from clicking on the link and delete it.

This is a good reminder to us all to be vigilant about email communication. All HAA staff have a harvard.edu email address and any communications from the HAA will come from that domain. Should you receive any suspicious email related to your club, SIG, or the Harvard alumni community, please let us know.
